What are your current opening hours?
Do I need to reserve a table?
Planning a visit to Venus and not sure if you'll need a reservation? Don't worry, we happily accommodate walk-ins on the day where it is possible to do so. However to avoid any potential disappointment when arriving, especially around peak times, we recommend making a reservation in advance via our online form. It's quick, easy, and gives you peace of mind that you'll have a space ready & waiting for your arrival.
How can I change or cancel my reservation?
Changing a reservation
If you would like to change a reservation you've made through our online booking form or through calling us directly, such as to change the time or number of people attending, please call us on 020 8542 0888 and speak to a member of staff who will be happy to update the details for you and confirm if we can accommodate the change. Alternatively, please complete the form here and we will get back to you.
Cancelling a reservation
If you have already made a reservation with us through our online booking form, you can cancel your reservation by opening the form and clicking on the "Want to cancel your reservation?" button. Enter the email address you used to make the booking, click "Find Reservations", then click on the "Cancel" button against the reservation found. That's it - all done! We hope we can welcome you here another time soon instead.
If you would like to cancel a reservation that was made through calling us directly, or cannot find your reservation through the method above, please simply call us on 020 8542 0888 and a member of staff will be happy to help. Are you child-friendly?
As a family-run business, we understand the importance of quality time spent out of home with the whole family. As such, we welcome children of all ages at our venue, and can adapt our menu to suit your young ones upon request – just ask a member of staff when you arrive.
As we’re sure you can understand, space in London is at a premium, and we unfortunately do not have specific baby changing facilities or highchairs on the premises. We hope that this doesn’t pose too much of an inconvenience for you.
Can I order food online for collection or delivery?
Right now, we have not yet set up to infrastructure to be able to order online and facilitate deliveries. However this is our top business priority, and our digital team is actively working on introducing this functionality as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience as we transition incrementally into digital channels. In the meantime, why not subscribe to our newsletter and be notified in your inbox as soon as we have launched our online ordering & collection / delivery service.
Do you have vegan options?
Unfortunately we do not currently offer a vegan menu, although we have an abundant set of vegetarian options – see the menu here for a filtered list.
Register Interest for a Vegan Menu
A number of our close relationships are vegan, and we are keen to explore the option of introducing a dedicated vegan menu, if there is demand to warrant it. We understand that vegan cuisine should be deliciously crafted in its own right – not just a normal menu with core ingredients like meat and dairy stripped away or substituted. In other words… it’s more than just offering a salad!!

Do you have gluten-free options, or cater to other dietary requirements?
You may have noticed that we haven’t explictly stated the items on our menu which are gluten-free, or devoid of specific allergens, however we do have options available and will do our best to accommodate. Please speak to a member of staff upon your arrival and we will invite you to have a conversation with our chef to see how we can best meet your needs.
We take this approach being mindful of how important it is to be accurate with our descriptions, and accommodating of your individual requirements. Particularly if you are a coeliac, we know how critical it is that you avoid all possible contact with gluten in food, so we would prefer that you make this known to the kitchen staff on duty, so that we can advise you on which options are safe for you, and take extra precautions to ensure that our preparation is clear of any potentially harmful contact. Your safety and peace of mind is highly important to us at Venus.
Do you accommodate large group events or functions?
Yes, we can cater for groups of up to 30 people, but cannot hire out the whole venue. If you would like to make a reservation for a large party (12+), we ask for at least 1 weeks' notice in order to prepare our kitchen staff and discuss any specific needs with you. Please call us directly on 020 8542 0888 to discuss, or make an enquiry via our contact form. To help streamline this, it would be helpful if you could provide the following details in your request:
- Number of people, and contact information for the person organizing
- Possible dates for the event (if you can be flexible)
- Specific food and drink requirements
Do you allow external catering?
In some circumstances, we will allow large parties to arrange external catering. We recognise that this is a key decision factor for some social events, and that you may be more comfortable with a third-party providing the food to cater to your group's preferences (we recommend City Pantry), while we at Venus host the space and provide the drinks. In return for this flexibility, we have a strict rule that all drinks consumed must be purchased at our venue for the duration of your stay (we do not allow BYOB).
