"The loveliest place in Colliers Wood!"
I have been coming here for years. The atmosphere is friendly and the place is cosy. The prices are fair for the quality of food, which is great. My favourite here is by far the steak, it’s always cooked perfectly. The drinks are also reasonably priced, compared to the other pubs near by. The staff are all very friendly and nothing is ever too much for them.

"Superb Dinner"
Staying at local hotel, lovely venue, cocktails and food, not rushed, made to feel very welcome. Waitress lovely, one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in, very reasonably priced. Watched tennis, drank cocktails for a few good hours, ate delicious food. Would highly recommend.

"Cocktails and Dinner"
Lovely meal and cocktails our first night here, friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble, spent a few hours here and wasn’t rushed, watching the tennis and listening to the music. Very relaxed atmosphere and comfy seats. Would highly recommend.

"Brilliant"
First visit to the area and we stumbled upon Venus bar. It is very cosy but modern, clean and the decor is nice and fresh. The food was really good quality at a very reasonable price. The staff were very nice and friendly. The porn star martini cocktail jugs are the best!! Highly recommended.

"I love this place!"
I have been coming to this place for years! The owner is the nicest person going and the drinks are fairly priced, to be honest the food is good priced as well. The nachos are my all time favourite. Really good for after work drinks and a good place to go to pre drink before a night out! I recommend!

"Lovely food"
Have eaten here 2 or 3 times now as staying in the area with work. Good food, lot of it homemade, portion sizes good. Prices very reasonable for the quality of the food. Will certainly eat here again when in the area

"Excellent value and quality"
Had a meal for two adults and two children. Kids shared an adults lasagne and both adults had a starter and main. Food was good quality and cooked well from fresh really enjoyed by all. Bill was less than £70 and kids had a dessert, 2 drinks and adults had 3 drinks each.

"Always friendly"
Been coming here over a year now as ease of access to and from home, the staff are always friendly. Such a shame more people don’t visit Venus as it’s a lovely bar run by a tall friendly guy called Arthur, during the summer the whole of the front of the bar is open with sliding doors so can have a drink while watching the world go by

Excellent meal for 7 of us – 2 adults, 5 teens. All catered for with extremely tasty food. Fantastic portions and very reasonable prices for London. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

"A quick evening meal for two"
We have stayed over the road at the Holiday Inn a few times but this was the first meal here. Tables for eating towards the back of the place and then comfy sofas and low level tables at the front. Food was good and plentiful and the service was excellent, I had the pasta with salmon and cheese sauce and it was yummy, would certainly go again

"Lovely little place next to tube"
Convenient for tube while staying at the Holiday Inn across the road, this is a little place with a very nice menu, not at all pricey with pleasant and efficient staff.
